Lead Product & UX/UI Designer at GOAT

Fintech · Payment Service Provider (PSP)
Mar 2023 — Present

GOAT is the PSP behind the Rebit ecosystem — the financial infrastructure powering payments, collections and business services. In this role I shifted from UX/UI execution to product ownership, working directly with the CEO to define strategy and with the dev lead to ship it.

  • Product Strategy & Integration: Worked directly with the CEO to define which services to build and which providers to integrate. Attended technical meetings with Prisma, TAPI, and RedLink, translated requirements into flows, and handed off to development with full documentation. Prisma replaced RedLink mid-process based on integration feasibility — a decision made jointly with the CEO and dev lead.
  • Team Leadership: Led a UX/UI team of 4 designers while coordinating parallel workstreams with the frontend lead and 3–4 developers. Design was never the bottleneck — that was the goal and the standard.
  • Design System Ownership: Maintained and evolved the design system across B2B (Merchant) and B2C (Wallet) platforms. Every component was documented and linked to development as a binding reference, not a suggestion.
  • Rebit Comercios: Led the end-to-end design of the QR and card payment solution for merchants — from zero to launch. Now the primary revenue driver of the platform, it moved the company from investment-dependent to operationally sustainable.
  • Rebit App MVP: Directed the redesign of the B2C mobile wallet, built for scale and prepared for public release. Designed for all future integrations, not just what existed at the time.
  • Provider Integrations: Fully designed and documented the TAPI integration flow before leaving — ready for development to implement. Prisma was activated for payments and collections during my tenure.
Result

Under my leadership, the platform grew from 10 to 20 B2B clients and monthly processing volume reached over 1.5B ARS.

UX/UI Lead at Rebit

Fintech · Digital Wallet
Jan 2022 — Feb 2023

Joined when the product was called Brik Federation. Led the full rebuild: new name, new brand, new design system, new workflows. The problem wasn't a bad design — it was no design process at all.

  • End-to-End Rebuild: Led the renaming, rebranding, and full redesign of the product. Built the design system from scratch and applied it to the web wallet first, then the mobile app. Every decision was documented and linked to development as a binding reference.
  • Cross-Platform Design: Designed simultaneously for desktop (B2B admin panels) and mobile (B2C wallet), including onboarding, P2P transactions, CVU management, and crypto operations.
  • Process & Handoff: Moved the team from zero documentation to pixel-perfect handoff with development. Design stopped being a bottleneck and became a driver.
  • Rebit App (B2C): Designed the complete mobile wallet experience — onboarding, P2P flows, and transaction management — with a new design system built for scale.
  • Rebit Wallet (B2B): Led UX and UI design for the corporate wallet — a high-complexity platform for managing company capital, large-scale transactions, and user permissions.
  • Foundational Design System: Built the UI Kit that unified B2B and B2C platforms under a single visual language, enabling consistent and fast development handoff across the ecosystem.
Result

The team moved to pixel-perfect implementation with development. We shipped a new app built for scale and a design system that supported all future integrations.

Lead Designer at Corporación Cápsula

Tech-Financial Holding
Feb 2022 — Dec 2022

Corporación Cápsula was a holding built around a vertically integrated model: renewable energy → Bitcoin mining → fintech. Everything had to be designed from zero under investor pressure and tight deadlines. The company later pivoted and became GOAT, narrowing its focus exclusively to the financial layer.

  • Full Design Leadership: Led a team of 2 graphic designers and 1 UX/UI designer. My scope covered the full design surface of the company: brand identity, web, pitch decks, event presence, and merchandise.
  • Physical Product Design: Redesigned mining hardware cases arriving disassembled from China, adapting them for liquid cooling submersion. One of the few projects where my industrial design background became directly operational — understanding cooling specs before touching the form.
  • Investor Communication: Produced full 3D renders of the project vision to communicate a complex multi-stage business (energy → mining → fintech) to non-technical investors in a single image. Also led all pitch deck design and event materials.
  • Brand & Identity System: Built the full visual identity from zero — logo, color system, typography, brand guidelines — under tight deadlines and investor pressure.
  • Virtuality San Juan 2022: Designed the full event presence including stand, branded materials, and merchandise. The company's first public appearance with a complete and coherent identity.
  • Hardware Redesign: Redesigned the mining equipment cases for liquid cooling submersion — a direct application of industrial design principles to a tech product.
Result

The company presented at Virtuality San Juan 2022 with a complete brand and a working MVP vision. Shortly after, it pivoted and became GOAT.

Graphic Designer

Freelance · Branding & Visual Systems
Jan 2020 — Dec 2021

Started with brand identity work for external clients. As I moved into product roles, this evolved into directing the visual identity of the products I was leading — working with and guiding design teams rather than executing alone.

  • Brand Identity & Visual Systems: Created complete brand identities for startups and businesses — logo, color system, typography, brand guidelines. Managed projects from briefing to final delivery.
  • Team Direction: As I moved into senior roles, shifted from executing to directing — defining the visual direction and guiding designers to execute it consistently across touchpoints.
  • Rebit & GOAT Brand Systems: Created the foundational visual identities for both companies, which later evolved into full design systems and UI Kits for their fintech products.
  • External Clients: Developed brand identities for CACHEDA (industrial services), TODO ELÉCTRICO (retail), MARGARET (hospitality), and FANEC (construction), among others.
Result

Built a systematic approach to visual identity that transferred directly into how I build design systems for digital products.

Industrial Designer

Freelance · Product Development & Manufacturing
Sep 2015 — Jan 2020

Designed and produced furniture, plastic parts, and commercial spaces. Managed the full product lifecycle from parametric modeling to client delivery. This is where I learned that design without constraints isn't design.

  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Created technical drawings and material specifications to ensure production feasibility and cost optimization. Delivered precise specs for plastic injection, metal fabrication, and woodworking.
  • Modular Systems: Developed product lines and furniture based on modular systems — a practice that directly informs how I approach component libraries and design systems today.
  • Parametric Design: Used Grasshopper for complex geometry modeling — establishing a rule-based, data-driven design mindset that I now apply to design tokens and component logic.
  • Retail & Furniture Systems: Designed modular furniture and exhibit displays for commercial clients, optimizing space and visual communication at the physical point of sale.
  • Infrastructure Products: Designed solar-powered autonomous totems, parking systems, and mass-market plastic products — managing the full cycle from concept to production.
Result

Built the systemic, constraint-first thinking that underpins everything I do in digital product design today.
