Branding & Web Design for an Industrial Construction Firm

Role — Brand & Web Designer · 2024 — 2025 · Industrial Construction
Logo & Visual Identity · Landing Page Design · Design System
Intro

Fanec Constructora needed to look like a new-generation construction company without abandoning the institutional credibility that industrial clients expect from a firm handling serious infrastructure work.

Young in the Copy, Restrained in the System

I designed the full brand identity and landing page for Fanec — logo, color system, typography, and the complete web experience: hero, about, differentiators, services, and contact. The positioning leans directly into that generational tension: the copy speaks of "nueva energía joven" and collaborative work driving innovation, while the visual system stays deliberately restrained — deep navy blue, clean typography, and a grid-based layout that reads as engineered rather than decorative.

Modern Without Looking New

Industrial construction clients distrust design that feels light or startup-like, but the sector's existing visual language usually reads as dated. The brand had to look current without looking unserious, and modern without looking like it had no track record, because the copy already carried real technical weight — public and private infrastructure works, detail engineering, long-term maintenance — that the design couldn't contradict.

The Homepage as a Trust Sequence

I structured the homepage as a trust-building sequence: a hero built around the tagline "Construyendo Futuro," a "Quiénes somos" section establishing the team and values, three differentiator cards (quality commitment, process efficiency, ongoing client support), a full services breakdown — Diseño y planificación, Construcción y Gestión, Mantenimiento y Post-venta — and direct contact details before the footer. Each section builds a specific kind of confidence: first in the people, then in the process, then in the concrete scope of what Fanec actually delivers, and the system was built fully responsive across three breakpoints — desktop, tablet, and mobile — so the same trust-building structure held up regardless of how a client first encountered the site.

The Outcome

A complete brand and web design system that positions Fanec as a credible, modern player in the industrial construction sector — current without sacrificing the institutional weight the industry expects.

Reflection

Fanec was a good exercise in restraint — the instinct in branding work is often to make things feel more exciting, but here the job was making things feel more solid. Credibility, not excitement, was the actual design brief, even though no one phrased it that way.
